Lisa Petrarca-Gamido, M. Ed., LICDC, SWA
Executive Director

Lisa has always had a huge heart. So it is no surprising that she found a way to turn her passion and experience into a career by becoming a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) and a Social Worker Assistant (SWA). She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Akron, and later acquired her masters in counseling from Kent State University.

Since her recovery began in 2003, Lisa has maintained a steadfast plan of action. Today she understands what it takes to live happy, joyous and free, and wants to share her hope with others. She remains diligent with her daily maintenance program. After all that she has experienced in recovery, she made it her mission in 2020 to share this experience with those who strive to be free from addiction. Lisa has an ability to empower people through honesty and compassion.

Lisa resides in Stow, Ohio with her husband, Adam. Her husband is her best friend and soulmate. God, family, and friends are of great value to Lisa. Lisa’s staff is a priority to her as she feels they are the heart of The MODE.
