The MODE provides Individual Sessions, Family Education and Support, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Aftercare.

Individual Sessions

What is it?
Individuals meet with their individual therapist one on one in a safe and confidential environment to assess issues and reasons why the client may be abusing substances. The therapist and client work towards increasing positive feelings and quality of life.
Who is it for?
Available to anyone struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues who is enrolled in our program.
What is involved?
Regular meetings with therapist.
How often does one go?
It varies depending on which program the individual is admitted to and their needs
How long does it last?
30 or 60-Minute Sessions
When does it take place?
By appointment, Weekdays

Family Education and Support

What is it?
Family and friends are educated about the disease concept in terms of addiction. Communication is increased between loved ones and the addicted person.
Who is it for?
Family and friends of the addicted individual.
What is involved?
Sessions with the family/friends/other loved ones and the addicted person.
How often does one go?
Attend as needed
How long does it last?
As long as needed
When does it take place?
By appointment, Weekdays

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

What is it?
Direct services for individuals with substance use disorders who do not require medical detoxification or 24 hour supervision. Individuals live at home rather than a residential facility. New coping skills are learned and healthy behaviors are reinforced.
Who is it for?
Available to anyone struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues.
What is involved?
Individuals attend group therapy, regular individual sessions with their therapist, as well as attendance to 12 step meetings.
How often does one go?
3x per week for 21 sessions
How long does it last?
3 Hours
When does it take place?
9 AM to Noon, Mon/Wed/Fri
5:30 to 8:30 PM, Mon/Wed/Thu

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

What is it?
PHP is a higher level of care for individuals who have difficulty functioning at work and school. This program provides several hours of structured programming per day as an alternative to inpatient treatment. A licensed mental health professional conducts group sessions.
Who is it for?
Available to anyone struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. It is intended for individuals who need more intense treatment, but not hospitalization.
What is involved?
Individuals attend group therapy, as well as psycho-education and skill-building groups. In addition, they meet with their primary counselor on a regular basis, and participate in 12 step meetings. Individuals visit with the doctor within 24 - 72 hours of admission and up to twice a week if necessary.
How often does one go?
5x per Week
How long does it last?
2 to 4 Weeks
When does it take place?
9 AM to 3 PM, Mon thru Fri

Aftercare

What is it?
A part of treatment after an individual completes treatment in a higher level of care. Sessions to help the individual during early recovery adapt to their new way of life and prevent relapse.
Who is it for?
Available to anyone struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues.
What is involved?
Weekly group, regular meetings with their primary counselor, and attendance to 12 step meetings.
How often does one go?
Once per Week
How long does it last?
One hour
When does it take place?
12 PM to 1 PM, Tues
6 PM to 7 PM, Tues
